What a great song!

10 How delightful is your love, my sister, my bride!
How much more pleasing is your love than wine,
and the fragrance of your perfume than any spice!

there are so many wonderful things about the passage marla chose. still, none of the verses confronts my self image (condemnation) like this one. Nor does any of the other verses cause my mind to wonder as much. and this is why:

God says that my yes (which is mostly talk and very little action) is much more pleasing than wine. He calls it delightful = "full of delights or pleasures"....wow!

so i dare not withold it from him. no matter how pathetic or short lived it may be. it brings him soo much pleasure. and so i will offer it up to him again...and again...until he drinls his fill.
