Perhaps

Perhaps He found her in His presence...under the apple tree. In His presence, not realizing that there was so much more than what she was tapping into. Perhaps this is why He explains the depths of love to her. He tells her that love is as strong as death, it's jealousy unyeilding as the grave. He says it burns like a blazing fire...like a mighty flame. And He continues on telling her there is more than what she is enjoying under the apple tree.

Perhaps this is why she was willing to go with Him into the desert place....to take a chance on love. To see if He was right about all the things He told her. And this, perhaps, is why she comes back up out of the wilderness leaning on her beloved......He was right and she found love. Strong love.
