The He Said---She Said

The Lord counters my idea of how small and insignificant I am. I see myself as not making that much of an impact on anything. That if I were here today and gone tomorrow it wouldn't matter. (or at least not much) Most of us think that way, right? We look around at the other people, and other ministers, and ministries that are around us, and in our midst, and we figure that our portion of this life does not matter much. But God's view of me is much different than that. I mean everything to Him and He sees so much more than what I see. When I speak to Him, He actually keeps my words (my prayers) in front of Him. He thinks about me more than I could ever understand. And it is all because--He handpicked me. I was the one that He chose. Though my darkness told me that I didn't amount to anything, I was the one that He said was lovely. The beautiful thing is that He is the one that is right.....every time.
